of excellence and southern hospitality continues on this
18 hole championship golf course that has been challenging
golfers for 30 years. Located among the magnolias, azaleas,
tall Carolina Pines and some of Mother Nature's most beautiful
amenities - her waterways. Water comes into play on 7
of the 18 holes. Carolina Pines' signature hole, number
15, is a beautiful par 5 with the green located on a cliff
overlooking the Neuse River.

Course Design Features: Tree lined fairways, well
bunkered undulating greens. Breathtaking views of the
scenic Neuse River and spectacular lakes and ponds.

Between New Bern and Havelock on Route 70
| On
the scenic Neuse River just west of Havelock, this
challenging 18-hole, par 72 course is everything the
golfer could ask for. The course features elevated
greens, bermudagrass fairways, abundant sand traps
and ample water that rewards the accurate shotmaker.
Tim Dupre, the club pro, will arrange lessons for
those who are interested. Golfers will also find a
pro shop, a driving range, target greens and a clubhouse
with a lounge and patio that overlooks freshwater
lakes and the golf links. Fees are $25 weekdays and
$28 weekends, including cart. Carolina Pines is directly
off U.S. Highway 70; look for the signs. |
